The Global Art Festival attracts a myriad of unique artists, including directors, performers, bands, photographers, sculptors, and more. It stands as a significant cultural and social event in the city.
Within this framework, our videopoem „Pause“ debuted at the opening of the Germanisches Nationalmuseum Nuremberg. I sincerely thank poet Anastasia Gkitsi for her idea and trust in this powerful poem. Special thanks also go to composer Ilias Chadjoglou for his musical contribution!
Throughout the exhibition, the video „Pause“ is featured prominently in the „Wohnzimmer“ (a project by Maja Bogaczewicz), a multidimensional installation serving as an art space showcasing works by 23 artists.
The videopoem „Pause“ made its debut at the 9th International Video Poetry Festival Athens, based on the eponymous poem by Greek poet Anastasia Gkitsi.
In the film, video artist Janni Kolotouros portrays the uninterrupted connection between time and pause. Three different versions of the visual, musical, and linguistic themes are presented alternately, maintaining their conceptual coherence.
